With concerns about the impacts of development on our environment most projects today must obtain one or more environmental permits. Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) or US National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) review is required for nearly every project. Additionally, other permits such as Shorelines, Critical Areas, Hydraulic Project Approval, Corps nationwide/individual project, water quality, erosion control, and others are typically required for specific projects. Early in a project, our project team identifies the specific permits required for project implementation.
Working collaboratively, Gibbs & Olson’s project team can prepare permit applications, alternative evaluations, biological assessments, and mitigation plans as appropriate. To ensure complete permit applications are submitted, we closely coordinate with our clients, project team members, and local, state and federal permitting agencies.
