Location: Longview, WA | Wage: $64–$70/hr (DOE)

Gibbs & Olson is seeking a Senior-level Engineer 5 to lead complex infrastructure projects and mentor the next generation of engineers.

This is your opportunity to step into a client-facing role with an established and respected civil engineering and land surveying firm serving public and private sector clients across Washington and Oregon.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead complex civil infrastructure and site development projects
  • Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and teams
  • Prepare reports, estimates, plans, specs, permits, and technical documents
  • Oversee design work for utilities, stormwater, roads, and site improvements
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, and subconsultants
  • Mentor junior staff and support business development

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) registration
  • 12+ years of civil engineering experience
  • Skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
  • Experience with utilities, stormwater and roads for public/private infrastructure and/or site development projects
  • Experience working with public agencies, permitting, and funding coordination
