Location: Longview, WA | Wage: $64–$70/hr (DOE)

Gibbs & Olson is seeking a Senior-level Engineer 5 to lead complex infrastructure projects and mentor the next generation of engineers.
This is your opportunity to step into a client-facing role with an established and respected civil engineering and land surveying firm serving public and private sector clients across Washington and Oregon.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead complex civil infrastructure and site development projects
- Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and teams
- Prepare reports, estimates, plans, specs, permits, and technical documents
- Oversee design work for utilities, stormwater, roads, and site improvements
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and subconsultants
- Mentor junior staff and support business development
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) registration
- 12+ years of civil engineering experience
- Skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
- Experience with utilities, stormwater and roads for public/private infrastructure and/or site development projects
- Experience working with public agencies, permitting, and funding coordination
