Mt. Solo Reservoir Fill Line
Client—City of Longview, Washington
The existing ductile iron watermain for the Mt. Solo Reservoir is in a landslide zone and has a high risk of failure. Currently, under alignment, geotechnical, and trenchless design evaluation, this project will replace 1,000 feet of the existing ductile iron piping with high-density polyethylene. Construction will be accomplished utilizing a horizontal directional drill method. Once the new pipeline route is determined, new private property watermain easements will be secured.
