12th Street Improvements
Client—City of Elma, Washington
Gibbs & Olson provided survey, design, and construction phase services for the reconstruction of 660 feet of roadway within the existing right-of-way. Improvements included replacing pavement, installing new curb, gutter, and closed storm drainage on the west side of the roadway, while retaining the existing curb, gutter, sidewalk, and storm drainage on the east side. Stormwater runoff is collected and conveyed to a treatment swale. The project also included installing 820 feet of new 4 to 10-inch ductile iron water main, valves, hydrants, service connections, and associated surface restoration.
