Port Management Agreement Survey

Port Management Agreement Survey

Client—Port of Woodland, Washington

Gibbs & Olson partnered with the Port of Woodland to provide surveying and mapping services required to secure a new Port Management Agreement (PMA) with the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR). This crucial project focused on accurately defining eight aquatic parcels adjacent to Port of Woodland parcels at Austin Point and Martins Bar, establishing clear ownership and management boundaries from upland properties to the Columbia River navigation channel.

With specialized expertise in aquatic boundary surveying and agency coordination, Gibbs & Olson provided the technical groundwork the Port of Woodland needed to accurately define and manage its aquatic lands. This successful mapping effort directly supports the Port’s future waterfront operations, streamlines lease management, and paves the way for continued economic development opportunities along the Columbia River.
