Woodland Reservoir No. 4
Client—City of Woodland, Washington
The City of Woodland replaced an aging reservoir with a new 1.5-million-gallon glass-fused-to-steel reservoir to improve water storage capacity, reliability, and long-term system resiliency. Gibbs & Olson provided planning, surveying, design, bidding, and construction phase engineering services for the project, which was funded in part through the Washington State Department of Health Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF).
The project included construction of the new reservoir and foundation system, demolition of the existing reservoir, installation of 1,400 feet of 12- to 16-inch ductile iron water main, new valves and appurtenances, electrical, telemetry, and instrumentation improvements, site grading, stormwater facilities, fencing, paving, and site restoration.
