Water Line SR411 Bridge Crossing
Client—City of Castle Rock, Washington
WSDOT replaced the decking on the SR411 bridge crossing the Cowlitz River. As a part of this project, Castle Rock upgraded its water line attached to the bridge supports. Gibbs & Olson provided the water pipeline designs that were incorporated into the WSDOT drawings and specifications. Gibbs & Olson also provided limited construction phase services (submittal review and responding to the contractor’s questions). The design work required close coordination with WSDOT to incorporate the water pipeline design into WSDOT’s design drawings and contract documents for the bridge deck replacement.
