Exit 49 Pedestrian Improvements
Client—City of Castle Rock, Washington
Gibbs & Olson provided the surveying, design and construction management for several pedestrian improvement projects on SR 504. The multiple grant funded improvements included ADA ramps to match the existing SR 504 pedestrian path, pedestrian-activated push-button flashing beacons, pedestrian lighting, and crosswalk striping. The improvements were designed to convey stormwater runoff to the existing storm drain systems. The projects required coordination with and approval from WSDOT and adherence to the LAG Manual.
