Schroeder Field Turf Replacement
Client—Kelso School District, Kelso, Washington
The District hired Gibbs & Olson to provide land surveying and civil site and stormwater engineering services. The project included removal and replacement of the existing natural grass football field at Kelso High School’s Schroeder Field with a new synthetic turf field. The District contracted with Fieldturf to supply and install the synthetic turf system. Gibbs & Olson worked with Fieldturf to develop the appropriate cross-sections for the new turf field, specify appropriate import aggregate and to design the field’s stormwater collection and conveyance system.
