Industrial Park Reservoir & Pump Station, Winlock, Washington

Client—Benaroya Company

Gibbs & Olson provided design and construction management services for a new potable water storage reservoir and booster pump station facility. The new facility provides water service and fire flow to Benaroya’s 320-Acre Pacific Northwest Regional Logistics Center. The new concrete tank reservoir has an effective capacity of 240,000 gallons. The new package booster pump station contains four pumps with a total capacity of 2,000 gallons per minute (gpm) housed within a concrete masonry unit building. The pump station includes a manual transfer switch and generator receptacle for a portable standby generator that can be used during a power outage.  Site improvements included constructing a gravel road to allow vehicles to access the facility and installing a fence around the perimeter with an access gate. Three phase electrical power was extended to the site from the Lewis County PUD’s electrical system. Onsite stormwater facilities discharge to a nearby detention pond which was designed to meet Lewis County stormwater requirements. Construction of the new facility was completed in February 2022.
