Gibbs & Olson Mourns the Loss of John Duncan
Gibbs & Olson is deeply saddened by the death of one of our principals, John Duncan, early this week. John joined Gibbs & Olson in 1984 and was a licensed engineer and land surveyor in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. He led the survey department for over 20 years and became a principal in 1995. One of John’s favorite sayings was “Life’s a giggle,” and he was known for both his stories and his patience. He will be missed dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with John’s wife, Sandy, his family, and numerous friends.
A memorial fund in honor of John Duncan has been established by the City of Gearhart. The funds will be used to help complete the Ridge Path Trail extension through the wetland areas. Once completed the extension will be named Duncan’s Crossing in honor of John. You can click on the following link for more information on how to donate. Duncan Memorial Fund
