Vader Water System Improvements Awarded to Gibbs & Olson

Lewis County has recently awarded the Vader Water System Improvements contract to Gibbs & Olson. The new water main will replace the existing 6-inch and smaller asbestos cement (AC) water main with 8,500 feet of 8-inch PVC piping. Gibbs & Olson will provide surveying, design, permitting, and construction management services. The improvements will also involve replacing all necessary fittings, adding new fire hydrants, updating water services (including meters), blow-offs, and other appurtenances. Additionally, surface restoration will be completed.
